Architecture
Refers to a building composed of many residences called units.
Apartment
A typical two-story, that has ground floor made up of brick and stone and wood on the upper level. Built during the 19th and 20th Century
Bahay na Bato
House of the landless poor that are built on any land area
Barong barong
A one-storey house with front porch and large windows. May have terrace and may be roofed or not.
Bungalow
A multipurpose one-room structure, light and airy, yet durable and structurally stable.
Ethnic Houses
Basically a boat that also serves as a dwelling. The badjaos or sama laut reside in households.
Houseboat
A house characterized by an upper level or storey covering just a half level of a lower part.
One-and-a-Half-storey house
A multiple-storey home where levels of living spae are connected by a short set of stairs. And typically divided into three different levels.
Split Level House
A type of house or cottage made of wood with a heavy, gentle sloping roof and wide edges set at right angles in the front.
Tsalet/Chalet
A real estate intended for use by for-profit businesses, such as office complexes, shopping mall, service stations, and restaurant.
Commercial Building
Refers to a place for buying and selling goods.
Market
Refers to the building of the PROVINCIAL government.
Capitol
Refers to the building of the MUNICIPAL government.
Townhall
Refers to a place where young people are educated.
