الإِسْمُ الجَامِدُ
Lit. The defective noun. The noun that is not derived from a root nor is any other word derived from it. E.g. رجل or فرس
المَصْدَرُ
Lit. The verbal noun. This is not derived from a root but many words are derived from it, e.g. النصر has the words نصر ينصر and ناصر derived from it
الإِسْمُ المُشْتَقُ
The derivative noun. This type of noun is derived from a root namely a مصدر. For example ناصر (helper) and مُنْصُوْرٌ (the helped) are both derived from النصر , which is a مصدر
المُثَنَّى وَالجَمْعُ المُذَكَّرُ المُؤَنَّثُ المُتَكَلِّمُ
