The rules for conjugating -ar verbs in the subjunctive
Notes:
verbs with irregular form in 1st person indicative singular show that irregularity throughout the present subjunctive
Stem changing -ar verbs follow the same change pattern in all forms except the nosotros and vosotros forms
For -ar verbs not ending in -gar. -cer or-zar, start with the yo form of the present indicative. Drop the -o and add -e, -es, -e, -emos, -en to form the subjective
For -ar verbs ending in -car, use the ending -que
For -ar verbs ending in -gar, use the ending -gue
For -ar verbs ending in -zar. use the ending -ce
(note that these endings are maintained throughout the conguation)
