AR Patterns Flashcards
A= each outer section is the same as the opposite inner section
B= each outer section is the same as the opposite outer section and vice versa
A= the black shape appears only once again as a white shape
B= the black shape appears only twice again as white shapes
A= 2 circles and 2 lines of equal length, circles touch or overlap, both lines touch or intersect at least one circle
B= 2 circles and 2 lines of equal length, circles do not touch, both lines touch or intersect at least one circle
A= + corresponds to black diamond, x corresponds to white square
B= = corresponds to black square, x corresponds to black diamond
A= number of arrows = sides of shape. if shape is white, arrows are closer to shape and point AWAY. if shape is black, arrows are further away from shape and point TOWARDS the shape
B= number of arrows = sides of shape. if shape is white, arrows are closer to shape and point TOWARDS the shape. if shape is black, arrows are further away from shape and point AWAY
A= all opposite shapes are same. if face is happy, opposite shapes are same colour. if face is sad, opposite shapes are diff colours.
B= all opposite shapes are same. if face is happy, opposite shapes are diff colours. if face is sad, opposite shapes are same colour.
A= dots form an L and Z shape. can be rotated but not reflected and still form the L/Z
B= dots form a J and S shape. can be rotated but not reflected and still form the J/S
A= odd enclosed regions (a shape on its own counts as an enclosed region)
B= even enclosed regions
A= small black circle is 1, medium grey circle is 2, big black circle is 4, adds up to 8.
B= same circle values, adds up to 12
A= shapes are undivided
B= shapes are divided into 2 parts
A= more sides: smaller/ less sides: bigger
B= more sides: bigger/ less sides: smaller
A= 1 grey up arrow : 2 white arrows (any direction)
B= 1 white down arrow : 3 grey arrows (any direction)
A= circle or square shaded. whichever is shaded will be below the other
B= triangle or square shaded. whichever is shaded will be above the other
A= 4 sided shapes
B= 3 sided shapes
A= total no of shapes equals sides of shape with most sides
B= total no of shapes is one more than the sides of shape with most sides
A= if bottom left shape is shaded, arrow points towards bottom right. if unshaded, top left. shading of arrow matches shading of top right shape.
B= if top right shape is shaded, arrow points towards top left. if unshaded, bottom left. shading of arrow matches shading of bottom left shape.
A= circle @ top > arrow points up. circle @ bottom > arrow points down. circle in middle > arrow points horizontally
B= middle rule is the same but top/bottom is reversed
A= odd sided shapes on left, even sided shapes on right. more even than odd shapes.
B= shapes with side numbers that are multiples of 3 on left, all others on right. more odd than even shapes.
