WHAT STATE

A

[A/A] Request for amount of fuel and missiles remaining. Response to WHAT STATE is:
1. (First #) amount of active radar missiles remaining
(Second #) amount of semi-active missiles remaining
(Third #) amount of infrared missiles remaining
(Minus) no gun/ not sufficient ammunition for gun attack
BY
(Fourth #) thousands of pounds of fuel (given to one decimal point), or time remaining
EXAMPLE: “BE44 is 3-1-2 by 7.5” is equivalent to 3 AIM-120s, 1 AIM-7, 2 AIM-9s, gun with ammunition and 7,500 pounds of fuel remaining
2. (Item) ammunition and oxygen are reported only when specifically requested or critical
