Q

What is the Argument from motion?

A

It’s the argument about thinking moving is caused by movers. Everything that’s moving has been set into motion by someone else e.g. God.

What is the Argument from Causation?

Q

What is the Argument from Degrees?

A

In order for there to be degrees of perfection, there must be something perfect against which everything else is measured. God is the pinnacle of perfection.

Q

What are some flaws in these arguments?

A

They don’t seem to establish any type of God.
They are self-defeating.
Aquinas was wrong in his insistence that there can’t be an infinite regress of anything.
