The Iroquois had different political structures including chiefdoms.

Many native Americans had tribute based empires, meaning that all the lower & middle class have to give stuff to the “kings” or chiefs of the clan.

Philip the 2 decided that after the English set new rules on hogs & trade with the England that he was going to overthrow them and started Metacoms war.

The Algonquin were native Americans who spoke the ojibwe language.

When tribes come together as one
When more settlers come into the new world, Indians had to band toghther in tribal confederations as more & more of them died from diseases.

Cortez was the Spanish conquistador that went into the Aztec empire and destroyed it.
Montezuma
Montezuma was the empire of the Aztecs before Cortes overthrew him.
