A job. e.g. You can apply for any advertised position.

To tell someone the best thing to do. e.g. The office will advise you about the permit.

A formal request for a job or course. e.g. Fill in the application form online.
Automatic
Works by itself without human control. e.g. You will receive an automatic reply.
Closing date
The final date by which your application must be received.
Selection
The process of choosing the best candidate.
Process
A series of actions or steps. e.g. The selection process includes interviews.
Contact
To call or write to someone. e.g. We will contact you if you’re selected.
Attend
To go to or be present at something. e.g. You may be asked to attend an interview.
Candidate
A person who applies for a job.
Reference
A letter describing a person’s character and ability.
Satisfactory
Good enough for a particular purpose. e.g. We need satisfactory references.
Confirmation
A written statement saying something is true. e.g. We require medical confirmation.
Require
To need something officially. e.g. We require a UK work permit.
Receive
To get something. e.g. You will receive an email reply.
Request
To ask for something formally. e.g. You may request extra time.
Shall
A formal word for will. e.g. We shall contact you soon.
