  • carrying out skills audit or reflect on their own practice by producing their own development plan.
  • the sessions can provide opportunities for staff, such as to share best practice, having sessions held where they can discuss what went well and what could be improved in the future, target that can be set.
  • inexperienced staff could have a mentor or coach to help them gain more experience and develop their practice.
  • Providing the care that is required to meet individual’s needs. Provision of training. E.g. health and safety training.
