Apostrophes are used in contracted words (have not/haven’t) to stand in a place of remove letters, or can be added on to the end of words with an ‘S’ just show possession.

Start by teaching the two forms of the Apostrophes separately and then my giving gap exercises. (Gap exercises are senators with apostrophes that are missing and the students have to choose the correct place to add them)
