A: Beneficence and non-maleficence
Psych. strive to benefit those with whom they work and take care to do no harm
B: Responsibility and fidelity
Psych. establish elationships of trust w/those w/whom they work. They’re aware of their professional and scientific responsibilities to society and to specific sommunities in which they work.
C: Integrity
Psych. seek to promote accuracy, honesty, and truthfullness in the science teaching and pactice of psych.
D: Justice
Psych. recognize that fainess and justice entitle all persons to access and to benefit from the contributions of psych. All persons are entitled to equal quality in the processes, procedures, and services being conducted in or by psych.
E: Respect for people’s rights and dignity
Psych. respect the dignity and worth of all people and the right of each individuals privacy, confidentiality, and self determination
