Different groups of people often living in urban areas; quick to change EX-Tiktok
Cultural Landscape
The natural landscape that has been changed by humans that reflect their cultural beliefs and values
Material Culture
the physical things created by members of a society
Artifacts
objects created by and used by humans
Mentifacts
The intangible concepts a culture has, like beliefs,values,practices, and aesthetics
Non-Material Culture
The beliefs, practices, aesthetics, and values of a group of people, determines what a culture views as acceptable
Sociofacts
The ways people organize their society and relate to each other
Traditional Architecture
A style of architecture that reflects a local cultures history, beliefs, values, and community Typically uses available materials EX-adobe/mud, stone, or clay homes
Post Modern Architecture
A style of architecture that reflects popular culture, diverse, business and economic success, developed after the 1960’s EX-skyscrapers
Cultural Realms
Areas of the world that share cultural traits Ex-language families, religious traditions, food preferences, architecture, and/or shared history
