Ambiguity
Uncertainly or inexactness within language.
Persona
The aspect of a character taken on by an author that perceives it that way.
Antecedent
a thing or event that existed before or logically precedes another.

Alliteration

Assonance
Assonance is the repetition of vowel sounds to create internal rhyming within phrases or sentences, and together with alliteration and consonance serves as one of the building blocks of verse.
Onomatopoeia
1 : the naming of a thing or action by a vocal of the sound associated with it (as buzz, hiss) 2 : the use of words whose sound suggests the sense
Elegy
