What is Physical activity
Physical Activity (PA) is voluntary bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure.
What is Sedentary Behavior
Sedentary Behavior (SB) is is associated with sitting and lying down where energy expenditure is very low.
What is Physical Inactivity
Physical Inactivity is lack of involvement in any form of physical activity during an individual’s leisure time.

What is RPE
RPE also known as the rating of perceived exertion, as measured by the Borg rating of perceived exertion scale, is a quantitative measure of perceived exertion during physical activity. A 7/10 RPE means you should be at about 7 out of 10 in terms of perceived exertion—or about 70% effort.
What is METs
A MET is the ratio of a person’s working metabolic rate relative to the resting metabolic rate. Your MET level would be 1 if you were generally sedentary (e.g. lying down, reading or sitting and talking). Participation in an activity of moderate intensity would result in a MET level of 3–6.
What is the guidlines for time spent doing Physical Activity for 13-17 yr olds
60 mins of vigeruous/ moderate intesity of physical activity daily.
What is the guidelines for time spend doing Sedentary behaviour for 13-17 yr olds
13–17 years should minimise the time they spend being sedentary every day. Limit use of electronic media for entertainment (e.g. television, seated electronic games and computer use) to no more than two hours a day.
What is an enabler
A person or thing that makes something possible.
What is an enabler in PE
Enablers for sports participation included having supportive environments in social groups that improved mental well-being.
What is a barrier
Something that stops a person or thing from doing something

A barrier can be inaccessible facilities or lack of adapted equipment
What is a demographic
A target audience that can be classified. such as age, sex, education, nationality, ethnicity, or religion,
What is SES
Socio Economic Status is a way of describing people based on their education, income, and type of job. It is usually described as low, medium, or high. People with a lower socioeconomic status usually have less access to financial, educational, social, and health resources than those with a higher socioeconomic status.
What is culture
Culture is the social behavior, institutions, and norms found in human societies, as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, capabilities, and habits of the individuals in these groups
