A
- location and type (Stanford A/B)
- location of the entry tear
- extension
- complications (impending rupture, signs of ischemia)

A
- T2w / Balanced GE for morphology
- T2w SPAIR / SPIR for detection of intramural / extramural edema
- ceMRA to detect stenosis
- FS GE +/- contrast and late to detect inflammatory changes
- DWI (0, 50-100, 800-1000)
