What was Shay’s Rebellion?
was to lower the taxes on the farmers after coming back from the war because they soon could not afford to the taxes and then they would have to give up their homes

they angered the soldiers and the soldiers shot and killed four farmers
Why is Shay’s Rebellion significant?
it showed the weakness of the AOC

-states kept most the power

-no judicial or exectiuve, or legislature branch
-no taxing power

-cannot regulate trade
