Feeling nervous, restlessness, panic attacks, rapid heart rate, fatigue, shaking, chest pain

Blood test, psycho-social evaluation, physical exam (is your anxiety linked to some medication) & symptoms

A
- Psychotherapy
- Pharmacological therapies
- TMS, DBS if those two don’t work

- Chronic psychosocial stress, especially early in life
- Adults under 35 years
- Gender (Women)
- Negative life events
- People with chronic diseases (diabetes, cancer)

A
- ~30% to 65% (high)
- Still environmental factors are huge part
- Various different susceptibility genes (5-HTT, BDNF..)

A
- Increased amygdala activation in response to negative stimuli
- Scrambled brain connections, chemical imbalance and dysbalanced processes in relevant neurocircuitries.
