Hamartia
Greek tragedy, fatal flaw of the protagonist that causes the reversal
Tragic universe and fate
Hero is in a world of apocalypse or trouble. Hero is in troublesome situation.
Tragic hero
Person of Nobel birth with heroic qualities who is doomed by the gods to a horrible fate. He struggles awesomely against this.
Reversal
When the story is going in a good direction for the hero but then turns disastrous.
Recognition
A change from ignorance to awareness of a bond of love or hate
Catharsis
Release from the reversal of the story. Ex, Oedipus gouging his eyes out

When the audience know something the main character does not

A group of actors that comment with a collective voice on the dramatic action.

Prophet/seer that had previously been turned into a woman. His eyes were melted out by Hera after a sex disagreement between her and Zeus. Zeus gifted him with prophecy.

Arête: is achieving the highest level of excellence in anything.
