in antigone the role of the gods is absenent cuz antigone did waht the gods would want but she still ended up dying
what is the plot of antigone
her brothers fought and one is honored and burried while the other is left to rot. they fought cuz oedipus said that they will both take turns on the throne but one of them didnt want to get off the throne so the other one got mad. she tried to burry her brotehr but creon the ruler of thebes declaired that no one is allowed to burry him. since her trying is breakign the rules she is caught and is sentaced to go into a cave and starve to death. she instead hangs herself and creons son sees this and kills himself aswell.
what type of ruler is creon
a pussy one he has no real claim to the threon since he got it from the death of both brotehrs. becsuase of this illigitmite claim he is exteremly inseacure. and tries to be overbearing
