-avoid driving and performing hazardous tasks bc of sedation
-do not drink alcohol
-change positions slowly due to orthrostatic hypertension
-stop med and notify HCP of positive for EPS
-increase fluid intake, excersise, and suck on hard candy to relieve anticholinergic effects
