Mid morning and mid afternoon (weakness)

Given 20-30 minutes before meal. Can be alone or with other meds.
Only one that be given IV.

Very long acting

Onset(1 hour) peak(continuous)

Can’t be mixed with other insulins.
Give at bedtime SQ.
