- monoamine oxidase inhibitors

- asparin and NSAIDs
- warfarin

- avoid alcohol and nonprescription drugs
- take fluoxetine or paroxetine early in day to prevent insomnia
- may begin to take effect in 1-4 weeks
- drug should be discontinued gradually
