AZITHROMYCIN
GENERIC: Zithromax
Antibiotic (usually for Bartonella)
CLAVAMOX
ORAL
Usually : for cuts/wounds
CLINDAMYCIN
Usually: after dental
Antibiotic affective against most aerobic gram + (but not enterococcus faecalis) and some anaerobic bacteria.
DOXYCYCLINE
Used to treat Lyme disease & Kennel cough
METRONIDAZOLE
Generic: Flagyl
Antidiarrheal
ENROFLOXACIN
Broad spectrum, antibiotic
Not recommended for streptococci, anaerobic bacteria
AMOXICILLIN
Ineffective against species that produce beta- lactamase
CEFOVECIN
Cephalosporin-class antibiotic used to treat skin infections in cats and dogs
CEPHALEXIN
Antibiotic particularly useful for staphylococcus infections
CHLORAMPHENICOL
Treat anaerobic and a bacterial infections both gram +/- crosses blood-brain barrier, useful in treatment of meningitis.
CIPROFLOXACIN
Antibiotic of quinolone group
MARBOFLOXACIN
