Effective against gram- positive and gram- negative organisms
Broad spectrum
when sign and symptoms do not improve
Subtherapeutic
A tubercolosis that demonstrates resistance to two or more drugs
Multi- Drug resistant TB
Most common, present as a pulmonary disease
M. tuberculosis
often with GI symptoms
M. avium intracellulare
