Cephalosporins
Fluoroquinolones
2 smaller families used mainly for sick in patients
Carbapenems
Aminoglycosides
What 2 common bacteria does penicillin cover?

Group A streptococcus
What is the difference between “ampicillin” and “amoxicillin”?
- Ampicillin= i.v.
- Amoxicillin= p.o.
What does cloxacillin cover?

Give 3 common Side Effects of Sulfanamides
- Hypersensitivity
- Thrombocytopenia
- Leukopenia
a drug that extremely strong antibiotics used for serious and potentially life-threatening infections caused by gram-negative bacteria.
