A
  • can cause Sun Sensitivity
  • take w/ adequate fluids
  • diarrhea, N/V
  • may decrease effectiveness of BC
  • Best on empty stomach
  • Avoid taking with antacids or dairy products

Ciprofloxacin

A
  • can cause Sun Sensitivity
  • Nausea, head aches, report severe diarrhea
  • avoid taking alone with dairy products
  • avoid caffeine - therapy can increase caf effects
  • 2hr before or 6hrs after antacid
  • w/ or w/out food

  • ER = take on empty stomach, can be taken with antacids
