phenoxymethylpenicillin or sulfadiazine

ciprofloxacin or rifampicin or I/M ceftriazone

Erythromycin (treat for a further 10 days if nasopharyngeal swabs are positive after 7 days treatment)

clarithromycin (or azithromycin or erythromycin) within 3 weeks of onset of cough
