What situations do anti-d need to be given in an emergency

A
  • Delivery of Rh+ve whether live or stillborn
  • TOP
  • Miscarriage >12 weeks
  • Ectopic (unless medical mx)
  • ECV
  • Antepartum Haemorrhage
  • Amniocentesis, Chronic villous sampling, Fetal blood sampling
  • Abdo trauma

If the event is in the 2nd/3rd trimester give large dose anti D and do a kleihauer test.
