Who should be given Anti-D
A
Non Sensitised Rhesus -ve Mothers

What situations do anti-d need to be given in an emergency
A
- Delivery of Rh+ve whether live or stillborn
- TOP
- Miscarriage >12 weeks
- Ectopic (unless medical mx)
- ECV
- Antepartum Haemorrhage
- Amniocentesis, Chronic villous sampling, Fetal blood sampling
- Abdo trauma
If the event is in the 2nd/3rd trimester give large dose anti D and do a kleihauer test.
