Q

Why do we wear Double set of Anti-C’s?

A

Double suits limit the contamination that penetrates the material during the work and improves the ease of controlling the spread of contamination

Q

When are wet suits required for wear?

A

Wet Suits (waterproof clothing) are required when working in a contaminated wet area and it is likely that personnel could be sprayed with

Q

When are face shields required for wear?

A

Face shields are required whenever a person’s body must be in close proximity (less than 1 foot) to very highly contaminated surfaces such as beta gamma emitters > 100,000 μμCi per 100 cm² (respirators fulfill this requirement).
