Archeological Anthropology
Focuses on these special interest, human evolution as revealed by the fossil, human genetics, human growth and development, human biological plasticity, and the biology, evolution, behavior, and cosial life of monkeys, apes, and other nonhuman primates
Biological/physical anthropology
Studies language in it’s social and cultural contest across space and over time
Linguistic anthropology
Refers to the customary behavior and beliefs that are passed on through enculturation (Kotakk)
Culture
The social process which culture is learned and transmitted
Enculturation
The concept of giving priority to one’s own goals over group goals and defining one’s identity in terms of personal attributes rather than a group identification
Individualism
Giving priority to the goals of one’s group and defining one’s identity accordingly
Collectivism
The essence of knowledge is self knowledge

The tendency to underestimate how long it will take to complete a task
