mastoid process

anterior manubrium and superior medial clavicle
Sternocleidomastoid innervation?
spinal accessory n (CN11)
Sternocleidomastoid action?
a. unilateral – flex and rotate head to same side
b. bilateral – flex neck anteriorly
c. with head fixed»_space; elevate sternum for ventilation

cervical vertebrae (CII-CVII)
Scalenes inferior?
first and second ribs
Scalenes innervation?
anterior rami of C3-C8

Anterior belly arises from digastric fossa of mandible
posterior belly arises from mastoid process

depresses mandible and -elevates hyoid
