Q

Name the contents of the antecubital fossa;

A

Medial to lateral- median nerve (goes between two heads of pronator teres), brachial artery (bifucates into radial & ulnar at apex), biceps tendon (attaches tp radial tuberosity), radial nerve (lateral border). (Veins in roof)

Q

Name the muscles arising from the common flexor origin at the medial epicondyle of the humerus;

A

Superficial muscles in anterior compartment of foreaarm (flexors)- protnator teres (median nerve), flexor carpi radialis (median nerve), palmar longus (median nerve), flexor carpi ulnaris (ulnar nerve). Intermediate anterior compartment- Flexor digitorum superficialis (median nerve).
