What is SaaS?
Software as a service. typically accessible through web browsers or client programming.
What is PaaS?
Platform as a service. Enables customers to develop, test, and launch an app without having tot maintain software or infrastructure
What is IaaS?
Infrastructure as a service. This is where customers purchase the back end product in order to completely take on implementing servers, networking, storage, etc.
What is the order that SaaS, PaaS, IaaS in terms of customer engagement.
IaaS is the basis for all cloud services, and very customer engagement heavy. PaaS is the middle ground where consumers can still create apps, but the producers still handle servers and hard drives. SaaS takes all the trouble out of consumers hand, and hands them a finished product.

On-demand delivery of IT resources over the internet with a pay-as-you-go pricing.
