Previous anorectal abscess
Extra-intestinal
manifestations of IBD.
Personal or family of Crohn’s or Ulcerative colitis
INVESTIGATIONS
CBC may show leukocytosis.
Imaging not
required for simple perianal abscesses.
consider U/S to define abscesses in the ischiorectal or intersphincteric spaces
