18
Q

Table 4 allowable variations

A

If ammunition constraints do not allow firing the tables as specified use available ammunition and change target type and range to conform to ammunition used

When moving targets are not available they can be replaced with a stationary frontal target

Friendly non combatant targets can be added to any task on this table according to the unit commanders intent

19
Q

Table 5 purpose

A

Table 5 is a full caliber gunnery table fired on a full scale range and is designed to serve as the 25mm prequalification table table v evaluated the crews ability to engage targets placed in a realistic threat array tasks from tables 3 and 4 are combined in this table for prequalification in preparation for crew qualification crew duties are evaluated and critiques which affect the crews overall rating

20
Q

Table 5 task

A

Engage and destroy stationary and moving targets from a stationary and moving lav during the day and night

21
Q

Table 5 conditions

A

The crew is given an authorized allocation of ammunition suitable live fire range with thermalized targets in accordance with tc25-8 during stadia engagements the Gunner will not use the ELRF

22
Q

23
Q

Table 7 and 8 task

A

The task for each table is the same conduct a reconnaissance and or security mission and acquire report and employ accurate direct and indirect fire to engage targets in a tactical array

24
Q

Table 7 and 8 conditions

A

As part of a platoon the section uses reconnaissance and engagements techniques against threat targets

25
Q

Table 7 and 8 standards

A

Engagement time standards are listed on table 10-1 on page 10-2 and hit rate is evaluated with table 10-2 on page 10-4 evaluation of tactical and gunnery tasks is accomplished with checklists

26
Q

X-1 task

A

Employ direct fire adjustment techniques against stationary and moving targets

27
Q

X-1 conditions

A

Using the M240 as the sun caliber device adjust fire from a first bust miss tasks are fired from a stationary lav against both stationary and moving targets using tracer ammunition

28
Q

X-1 standards

A

The crew members will use the correct adjustment techniques and hit the target with the second burst to meet the minimum standards the crew members must receive a go on each firing task to receive a go on sustainment firing table x-1

29
Q

X-2 task

A

Engage single and multiple vehicle and infantry targets

30
Q

X-2 conditions

A

The exercise is conducted in mop 4 from both stationary and moving vehicle during the day and night
