Q
What causes enophthalmos in horner’s syndrome?
A
Atrophy of the orbital fat and weakness of the muscle of Miiller have been cited as causes of enophthalmos in Horner’s Syndrome. However, it is currently thought that ptosis can give the appearance of enophthalmos which is therefore an apparent rather than a true enophthalmos.
