Animals that eat other animals.
Prey
The animal getting eaten.
Innate behavior
A behavior that doesn’t depend on learning or experience.
Learned behavior.
A behavior that has been learned from experience or from observing other animals.
Hibernation
A period of inactivity and decreased body tempature that some animals experience in winter.
Estivation
A period of reduced activity.
Biological Clock
An internal control of natural resources.
Circadian rhythms
Biological clocks that control daily cycles.
