Its normal for pigs to establish a peck order and for the boss hogs to physically attack subordinate animals.

This is a normal behavior, according to the EEU, pigs should be able to establish peck orders.

However, this will cause subordinate sows to be subjected to discomfort and injury, which is against another freedom.
