Chapter 1
• Old major gives a rousing political speech about the exploitation of the farm animals by humans.
•Summary
An old 12 year old pig who has a vision of the future named Old major(also called Willingdon Beauty). He was a majestic looking pig with a wise and benevolent appearance in chapter 1 he called a meeting to give a speech and discuss the oppression of the farm animals caused by humans he tells the animals that he will not be with them months longer and feels that’s it’s his duty to pass on such wisdom he told the animals that their lives are miserable,laborious(hardworking), and short and that all their hardwork and produce goes to the benefit of man he also tell the animals that he hopes for freedom and that their need to have a rebellion against man.To close off his speech he taught them a anthem by the name of “Breast of England” and give 7 rules(which are called the seven Commandments in chapter 2).
•Mr Jones
He was the owner of Manor Farm, a drunk, careless and irresponsible farmer who neglected his farm animals and don’t feed them and primarily uses them for their produces and money.
Chapter 2:
•Old major died in early March 3 days later, The rebellion happed & Animalism and the seven Commandments were introduced.
•Summary
During the next three months the animals prepare for the for rebellion meeting up secretly.The pigs named Snowball(an intelligent pig and rival of napoleon), Napoleon(A ruthless pig)who were the most cleverest and pre-eminent(Important) of the animals and were the leaders of animal farm these pigs turned old major teachings in to a new system of thought called Animalism they worked hard to teach the other animals animalism getting most to understand and agree but some animals Mollie and Moses who didn’t not understand or agree with the visions of animalism. Moses mr jones tame raven which was his pet was a spy and a tale-bearer and clever talker would tell the animal stories about this mysterious country called Sugaecandy Mountain(Animal heaven).
•Rebellion
The day of the rebellion came sooner than the animals expected this occurs when mr jones forgot to feed the animals due to him falling into a drunk sleep(Got drunk at Red Lion) leaving the animals hungry and furious causing them to break into the store shed to feed themselves in that same moment Mr jones and his 4 men arrived with whips and began to whip the animal lashing out in all directions after all the animal could not bear violently defended themselves against the men attacking and chasing the men butted and got kicked from all sides of the manor farm destroying everything. (Moses ran away and Mrs jones packed her bags quickly to run away). After the animals successfully kicked out and expelled mr jones their slammed the five barred gate and now owned the manor farm.
•After the rebellion
The animals now had control of the farm turning it to a museum and renamed it from manor farm to animal farm snowball(one of the most cleverest pigs) who knew how to write and read really well painted out the seven commandments of Animalism on the barn(Not many of the animals could read it except for Old Benjamin…etc
Chapter 3:
•Attempts to educate the animals are started, Animals committees are formed,Napoleon starts to train Jessie and Bluebell’s puppies & the milk and apples disappear
The animals now begins working toward the success of the harvest they work together well and are motivated by their freedom and the idea that they reap all their own rewards except the pigs who instead supervise all the work in the farm. Nevertheless the animals work tirelessly throughout the summer without complaining(Boxer worked the hardest.His motto “I will work harder”). On Sunday the animals don’t work but instead they have ceremonies and hold meetings planning the running of the farm. Mostly Napoleon and Snowball(The managers)does most of the talking but they often disagree the other animal will vote however most do not understand the process especially the sheep’s the meeting ended with the song of breast of England .They had numerous attempts and one was to teach the other animals how to read. Napoleon would take Bluebell and Jessica puppies to focus on providing a education for them.
•Conflict
Although the chapter starts with animals being happy and working successfully together we begin to see cracks appear in their society as it progresses with the pigs beginning to demand more and more privileges. It was noticed that the milks and apples were missing it was revealed that the pigs indeed take the milk and eggs to feed because since the pigs are the brainworkers of the farm they must have them to preserve their health.
Chapter4:
•Late summer, Jones tries to recapture the farm in the battle of the cowshed.
This chapter begins in the late summer and the animals have had control of the farm since around June. Jones is unable to deal with the loss of his property and spends most of his time at a pub called the Red Lion. At the same time rumors about the rebellion of the animals and the farm have been circulating throughout England by Mr.Pilkington and Mr.Frederick they invent stories of cannibalism and cruelty.
In early October Jones attempts to recapture the farm with the aid of men from Pinchfield and Foxwood. This attack will later be referred to as the Battle of Cowshed however the attack is thwarted by snowball and his organized plan to defend the farm. The animals defeats Jones and the other man while napoleon and Mollie was nowhere to be found Boxer gave the final blow he strikes a stable lad however not everyone was celebrating victory for the animals boxer stand sorrowfully over the stable boy’s lifeless body he had no intentions of killing him “I have no wish to take life, not even a human life” However it was noticed that the stable boy got up and rushes off.
(Snowball got injured during the battle and a sheep died when Jones fries his gun at him. The attack is memorialized through Ritual)

Chapter 5:
• Mollie disappeared ,In January The Windmill situation(Snowball and napoleon battle over the plans for the windmill),Napoleon attacks snowball with nine guard dogs, Squealer is sent to discredit snowball’s contributions to the farm.
As winter draws on trouble starts to brew not only is mollie causing trouble because she doesn’t want the new life of the farm according to the pigeons she now belongs to a pub owner(neighboring farm) on the other side of the village. At meetings snowball and napoleon are unable to agree on the farm’s management and development. Snowballs proposes plans that a windmill should be build to provide electricity for the farm to make their life’s more easier however Napoleon is totally against this idea and would urinate on his plans on the Sunday meeting that the plans for the windmill is put in votes napoleon calls out nine enormous vicious dogs(Jessica and Bluebell puppies) bounding into the barn came dashing straight for snowball. Fast forward to three weeks later napoleon announces that the windmill will be built even though napoleon had completely disagreed on the windmill
Chapter 6:
•In August Napoleon increases the working hours of the animals on the farm, Work on the windmill begins, Mr whymper is employed to conduct business with humans on the behalf of animal farm, The commandments starts to be rewritten,The windmill is destroyed, Claims are made that snowball is still visiting the farm and destroyed the windmill.
The animals continued to work tirelessly hard like salves even on Sunday’s because they all believed that they work will their benefits. Napoleon announces that animal farm will now engage in trade with humans this would help them obtain the necessary goods and materials needed this also included sacrifices especially from the hens mr. Whymper idea was to employee a human(a lawyer)

•(Winter) The animals are rebuilding the windmill, (January) There are food shortages and the hens rebel
