Stalin sabotaged Trotsky as he used his position as secretary to put all of his supporters on the central committee and told trotsky the wrong date of Lenin’s funeral.

Stalin removed any original Bolsheviks from the communist party as he thought they might oppose his plans.
In 1934,Stalin ordered anyone who opposed him or didn’t support him to be murdered.
He also made people confess to crimes that they couldn’t possibly have committed.
