7 Commandments of Animal Farm?
Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. No animal shall wear clothes. No animal shall sleep in a bed. No animal shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal. All animals are equal.
Whose vision do the animals follow and what is it?
They follow Old Major’s vision, the oldest animal pig on the farm and incredibly wise. Old Major’s vision was that one day humans shall be wiped out and all animals should be equal and live in harmony. He explains that action needs to be taken in order to do something about their situation.
What tune do the animals sing?

How does the first rebellion/revolution against Jones go?
After many days without any food, the animals rushed to the food bins and were able to fight off the humans on the farm. Overall it went quite smoothly without too much trouble and no animal casualties.
What are the main pigs that take charge and play a large role in the story.
Napoleon (Joseph Stalin), Snowball (Leon Trotsky), and Squealer (Propaganda) are the main three pigs that take charge of the farm.
Who is Moses (Story/Real Life)?
Story- He is a bird (Jones’s Pet) and likes to spread fictional stories to animals much to the pigs disliking.
Real Life- Russian Church
What are Boxer’s two mottoes?
“I will work harder”
“Napoleon is always right”
What is the flag of animal and what does each part represent?
It is a Green Tablecloth with a white hoof and horn in the middle.

What is the slogan that the animals use?
“Four legs good, Two legs bad”
At first this was much to the winged animals disliking until they explained that wings count as “legs”.
What happen/are Jessie/Bluebell’s puppies (Story/Real Life)?
Story- They become the nine guard dogs of Napoleon, trained to obey him since birth. They reinforce and protect Napoleon’s position in power.
Real Life- They represent the KGB, the secret police force of the Soviet Union.
What/Who are the 3 farmers/farms (Story/Real Life)?
Story- The 3 farmers/farms names are Mr. Jones (Manor Farm), Mr. Fredrick (Pinchfield), and Mr. Pilkington (Foxwood).
Real Life- The 3 real life counterparts names/countries are Tsar Nicholas II (Russia), Adolf Hitler (Germany), and Winston Churchill (England)
What is the food food that is taken more of and what is the “reasoning”?
The pigs start taking extra milk and apples. Squealer tells the other animals that since the pigs are smarter they need more food to keep their intelligence and run the farm.
What happened in “The Battle of the Cowshed”?
Snowball leads the defense against the humans, after having read Julius Caesar’s war tactics. The Animals fare very well. Only one sheep died. Boxer thinks he killed a stable boy, and feels very regretful after this. Snowball and Boxer receive medals as Animal Hero: Second Class or their sheer bravery and combat during the fight. They take Jones’ gun and agree to fire it every October 12th (Battle of the Cowshed) and every Midsummer’s day (first rebellion).

What is the idea Snowball proposes that is first objected than agreed to by Napoleon?
To build a windmill. This would heat the farm, and lower work to three days a week. Napoleon is very much against the idea of the windmill, until Snowball is chased off the farm in which he realizes its potential.
