oversimplification

assuming the conclusion (of an argument)
scapegoat
a person who is unfairly blamed for something that others have done
rationalizing
to make something seem proper, more attractive, etc.
stereotype
believing unfairly that all people or things with a particular characteristic are the same
slogans
words or phrases that are easy to remember and are used by a group to attract attention
doublespeak
language that can be understood in more than one way and is used to trick people
internal contradiction
when a statement contains two contradicting ideas
white propaganda
propaganda that is properly sourced and contains true information
black propaganda
propaganda pretending to be from a friendly source, but is actually from an adversary; intended to deceive
grey propaganda
propaganda that lies somewhere between white and black on the deception scale
