Q

What is anger management based on?

A
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • The offender’s irrational thoughts are challenged
  • The feeling of anger is reinforced by the feeling of being in control of the situation. This is counteracted in CBT as they are taught techniques that can resolve the situation without the need to be angry or violent.
