What is Androgyny?
A
- It is a concept introduced by Sara Bem that males and females can display both feminine and masculine traits and behaviours.
- Sandra Bem suggested those who displayed androgyny were considered psychologically healthy.

Describe the BSRI?
A
- The BSRI is a psychological test based of 100 american participants in the 1970’s.
- It has 20 masculine traits, 20 feminine traits and 20 neutral traits.
- Participants have to give themselves a score on a likert scale out of 7 (1 being never true of me, 7 being always true of me) if they did display those traits.
- The scores would then be calculated on whether the person displayed masculinity, femininity or androgyny.
