Criticisms of Aristotle

A

EMPIRICISM - senses can be deceived, many people experience lucid dreams & hallucinations (E.g. my senses tell me that when I put a pencil into a glass of water, it bends - but reason overrides this)

FOUR CAUSES - Dawkins & Russel criticised the idea that the universe needs a telos, it isn’t ‘supposed’ to do anything it just exists as a result of chance (E.g. Big Bang Theory)
