How are mummies prepared-(the 5 steps)

A
  1. Embalmers wash body with oatmeal wine then cut open with sacred knife.
  2. They remove liver, lungs, stomach and intestines and put in canopies jars.
  3. Then hook brain out through nose and cover body in salt and leave to dry.
  4. 40 days later priests begin to wrap body in layers if tight linen.
  5. They replace any lost limbs with fake ones and put magic amulets between bandages.

Name tools used for farming;

A

Winnowing scoops, hoes, rakes, flint-bladed sickles and ploughs. (Hand ploughs and ones pulled by oxen) the ploughs were used to turn the soil.
Shaduf- farmers irrigated their crops by using a shaduf. The shaduf was a simple machine used for lifting water out of the river and irrigating the crops.
