The sun because when Akhenaten was moving Ancient Egypt’s location, he saw the sun while it was setting and it looked like it was resting on the mountaintop.

The Nile river ran through ancient Egypt and Egypt was based around it because that place is one big desert and that’s the only source of water for crops out there.
