loess. Which is good for growing a grain called millet.
Why is the Yangtze River so important to China?
Played an important role in the development of the culture and civilization of Ancient China.
What did the Farmers take advantage of from the Yangtze River? Why?
Warm climate and rainy weather to grow rice.
What is Terracing?
Makes most of the mountain’s land. To making sloping land into flat areas that look like steps.
What mountain is contained in China? And what did they provide?
Contains the Himalaya Mountains. Provided a nearly impassable border for Ancient China, keeping the area isolated from many other civilizations. (HOME OF THE YETI)

North and West of Ancient China was the large Gobi Desert. Provided borders from the Chinese isolated from the rest of the world.
