The silk road was dangerous because you had to walk through one of the biggest desserts the Gobi Dessert and it was very hot and had a lot of sandstorms.
why was the Western Silk road dangerous and how did traders overcome its challenges?
You would have to walk through a twenty thousand feet mountain which was filled with snow and had less oxygen so you would get dizzy, have headaches, or ringing noise in you ears.
