- History is the study of the past—specifically the study of human interactions.
- Therefore, history began when people began!

THE BEGINNING
God created the universe & our world by speaking everything into existence
Genesis 2
ADAM AND EVE
God created Adam to take care of his creation and then created Eve to be his helper

THE FALL INTO SIN
Adam & Eve cast out of the Garden of Eden
Genesis 4
CAIN AND ABEL
Cain killed his brother Abel out of jealousy

A genealogy from Adam to Noah

WICKEDNESS IN THE WORLD
The world became corrupt & insanely wicked all of the time & God noticed their sin
NOAH AND THE FLOOD
God saw that Noah and his family were righteous people in a wicked world, so he commanded Noah to build an ark

NOAH AND THE FLOOD
Noah did everything that the Lord commanded. He & his family stayed on the ark for about a year as the earth flooded

Noah and his family get off the ark along with all the animals & God says to “be fruitful and increase in number”

God promises he will never again send a big flood to destroy the earth & he creates the rainbow in the sky as a reminder

Some people decided NOT to spread out, but rather build a massive tower for themselves; So God created different languages & caused people spread throughout the earth

THE STORY OF ABRAHAM
In Mesopotamia, Abraham’s family moved from the massive city of Ur, to Haran, & eventually to the land of Canaan
